Case Study
MOOD Gallerian Project
Client
AMF Fastigheter
Purpose
Retail center reconstruction and repositioning
Duration
2018 - 2020
MOOD Gallerian was redesigned to reflect contemporary retail trends, integrating lifestyle spaces, flexible leasing areas, and art installations to revitalize its commercial appeal.
Challenges Faced
The challenge was to rebrand and repurpose an underperforming shopping center in a highly competitive retail environment. Space reallocation and tenant restructuring needed careful planning to attract a new demographic.
Tenant Turnover
Old lease exits and new brand onboarding.
Solution
An immersive branding strategy, modern architectural redesign, and curated tenant mix positioned MOOD Gallerian as a lifestyle destination rather than a conventional mall.
Lifestyle-Oriented Design
Blended shopping with culture and relaxation.
Outcome
Increased foot traffic and brand revitalization
Commercial Revival
Retail tenancy doubled after reopening.
Lesson Learned
Retail spaces must evolve with consumer behavior, focusing on experience and flexibility rather than purely commercial space.
